Charging Hippo: Imperial Stormtrooper IPA

I love being on the inside with kyle, the owner, brewmeister, and rock’n’roll super star of Charging Hippo Brewing (slated to open this year (hopefully.)) actually, kyle likes it ALL CAPS. CHARGING HIPPO. I DONT KNOW WHY, BUT I THINK ITS DUMB.  ….. having access to his early drafts of his drafts == AMAZING.

This double IPA is more along the lines of the more malty varietals, such as avery’s maharaja.  i would like a bit more piney/resiny hop flavors, but maybe the imprerial stormtroopers liked it sweet and thick (thats what she said)
