Fremont Brewing: Bourbon Abominable (aka B-Bomb)
guest reviewer: my wife
but my notes first: this is fremont’s barrel aged version of their winter ale (abominable winter ale) which i love dearly. my wife doesn’t have as much drinking experience with the “a-bomb” (and b-bomb) as i do, so this will be interesting as she doesn’t know to expect .
wife:
(sigh….) its like the caramel, like really really dark caramel, almost to smoke. also there is an almost a black cherry sweetness in there. OH…. CHOCOLATE…. like when dark chocolate has that crunchiness, like a fine crystal, uhhhh ITS THAT CHOCOLATE THAT DOESN’T MELT IN YOUR MOUTH (for awhile)… stiff and waxy! also, has a hempy/earthy grain in the mouth feel.
tasting notes:
FRASH HAPS
Fremont Brewing: Cowiche Canyon IPA (Fresh Hop Edition)
So…. this is probably in my top two beers ever. im sorry the rest of the planet, you probably will never taste this one. it is by far and away the best example of amazing and awesome and fresh and hop in one bottle. i drank alot of this on tap, and in bottle, and this one was my last (for this season)
if you ever get a chance to drink one, and dont, you are dummed
Tasting Notes: THE BEST PIECE OF PIZZA YOU EVER HAD AFTER HAVING SEX WITH THE BEST LOOKING GIRL YOU’VE EVER SEEN.
Growler Fest!
1: Fremont Brewing: Summer Ale
2: Georgetown Brewing: Black Lager (is that racist?)
1: Fremont owns it all, at all times. their beers keep getting better and better, year by year. I LOVE THEM. this is such a fragrent and lovely (and easy drinking) pale ale. OMFG ITS GOOD
2: the thing i love most about GT brewing is that they dont bottle anything (well, except the waldman) so if you dont live here, you dont get it. this is such a light beer, despite its color. its like a more hearty lager, or a lighter porter, you take your pick.

also, SEATTLE RULEZ
Fremont Brewing: Cowiche Canyon Organic Hop Lab IPA.
It’s really excellent! By far it is one of the best Fremont beers I’ve had—there’s nothing that they make I don’t like though. I would buy this for ever and ever and probably inject it intravenously. as they say in japan: Super Delicious™
Tasting Notes: Grapefruit, Parsley, Cars with big subwoofers playing really bad music—but it doesn’t matter because it’s finally warm out (this beer concurs all)
FUCKING TUMBLR LOST MY REVIEW!! ! (HERES THE OTEHR FOTO)
